Bernice Lillian Heu Go, Born June 13, 1917, Hawaii, passed away April 21, 2014 in Bakersfield,California.   
Bernice graduated from the University of California Berkeley where she met her future husband William Kee Go. A member of many civic organizations, Bernice was the former Grand Matron of the Eastern Star and Executive Director of the Kern County YWCA.   
Together with her husband Bernice traveled the world in their retirement years as well as being active in Masonic activities.   
Bernice is survived by her daughter, Beverly Mar, Granada Hills, California and son, William R. Go, Bakersfield, California, grandchildren, Margo Lee, William Mar, Katherine Go, Alexandra Go, Hannah Go and great grandson, Matthew Lee and her devoted son-in-law, Mark Yamasaki and "daughter" Patricia Hamann.  She is also survived by sisters in Honolulu, Hawaii, Grace Wong, Margaret Lee and Beatrice Lau and nieces and nephews.  Her beloved husband and daughter, William Kee Go and Barbara Yamasaki, predeceased her.   
The family would like to extend its sincere thanks to the caregivers at Emeritus who helped our mother in her final days.

Services will be held at Doughty-Calhoun-O'Meara, located at 1100 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California 93301, on Saturday April 26, 2014 at 10 a.m., interment held at Union Cemetery, 730 E. Potomac Avenue, Bakersfield, California, lunch to follow.
