Betty Ann Callaway Obituary
Betty Ann Callaway passed away peacefully on October 7, 2014 in Raymond Washington.
She was born September 8, 1927 in California where she remained until she retired from her executive secretary position with Hopper, Inc. in Bakersfield.
Despite losing her husband Kenneth of 43 years to illness in 1991, Betty continued to pursue their passion for RV travel. She towed their 5th wheel RV across the Western States, having many adventures with friends and family for several years.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Penny and Glenn Ripley, Granddaughters Jennifer McDonald and Melissa Ripley, and numerous individuals whose lives she touched. While faced with many medical challenges she met them well and quite often with a surprising quick wit. Betty was known for her fierce independence, her love of card games and her dry sense of humor. She will be missed.
