Betty Hix Obituary

Betty Jo Hix 1940 - 2010 Betty Jo Hix, 70, of Maysville went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born February 16, 1940 at Shawnee, Oklahoma to John William McKinley and Ruby Estelle Hucks McKinley Anderson. Betty moved to Maysville 10 years ago from Bakersfield, CA. She was an ordained minister who did ministering through her antique store, KT's Mall. At one time Betty owned a drive-in, worked as a hairdresser, and was a silver smith. She had also worked as a builder and remodeled homes. Betty enjoyed being around people. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Betty will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Her survivors include her sons: Leanord Dale Gibson and wife, Connie of Maysville; Larence Dewayne Gibson of Wynnewood; daughter, Linda Kay Jones of Maysville; grandchildren: Lynetta Rachelle Gibson, Laura Michelle Horn, Lacey Dawn Estrada, Lila Marie Gibson, Leanord Dale Gibson, Jr., Leaza Renae Gibson, Haley Loraine Tinnin, Kjersti Lisabeth Gibson, Tara Marie Jones, and Briann Elizabeth Jones; great grandchildren: Hayden Nicole Lopez, Jakob Michael Horn, and Allison Dawn Gibson. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, and sisters. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville, OK with Rev. Richard Molina officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
