Billie B. Barnard January 21, 1927 - December 3, 2010 Billie B. Barnard, the prettiest girl to come out of Ropesville, Texas passed away peacefully in her sleep December 3, 2010. She passed from this world into the arms of her Savior, and the love of her life Truett "Hickory" Barnard. She personified "genuine" Christian values. She spent her last years as her mother had, caring for the sick and dying of her generation. When her time came, they had all gone before her and there were few left to care for her. One of her greatest legacies is her daughter, Jackie Haddon. Jackie followed in her mother, and her grandmother's footsteps, tirelessly and faithfully caring for her until the moment of her passing. Billie, "Mamaw," leaves the following to cherish her memory: daughter, Jackie Haddon and husband Mike; son, Derrell and wife Sandy Barnard; grandchildren, Christianna Percell and husband Jeff, Brian Haddon, and wife Gelayol, Matthew, "Bubba" Haddon and wife Andrea; Nicholas Barnard; Sarah Moreland and husband Jeff. She also leaves five great-grandchildren: Griffin, Emery, and Jedidiah Haddon, Peyton and Devin Percell. There are not enough words or space to encapsulate the joy, happiness and pain that she experienced in 83 years. After so much, she is now "easy."
