Bradley Ritter Memoriam

In Loving Memory of Bradley T. Ritter 1918 - 2010 Bradley T. Ritter was born October 3, 1918 in Oakland, California and died October 19, 2010. He spent his youth in San Francisco where he attended Galileo High School. He was an Eagle Scout and an avid sailor. He graduated from Stanford University in 1941 with degrees in Economics and Law. In 1945, Brad married Hazel Jesse, and they established a home in Taft. He owned and operated a hobby shop/ printing shop and was active in the Masonic Lodge, eventually becoming Master. In 1960, Brad became a stockbroker for E.F. Hutton and the family moved to Bakersfield. He was active in Rotary Club, Bakersfield Country Club, and was a Police Commissioner. He was also manager of the Oakland office of E.F. Hutton during his career. When Brad retired as a vice president of Hutton, he and Hazel continued their hobby of traveling to exotic ports of call until her death in 1997. He is survived by two daughters, Suzie Stewart Nunley and Nancy Bohland, and a grandson, Will Bohland. He was a good father and we miss him. www.bakersfield.com/obits
