Carol S. Lehmann (Scottie) August 30, 1937 ~November 11, 2013 Carol passed away peacefully at her home in Novato with her family at her side, on November 11, 2013 after a courageous battle with Cancer. Carol was born in Oregon, on August 30, 1937, the daughter of Ray and Marion Scott. Carol graduated from Oregon State College in 1959 with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics. She relocated to San Francisco for her first job where she met and married Robert Lehmann, Jr. She had a career in the bank industry as an Operations Manager in San Francisco and Marin County for over 30 years. After she retired from banking, she worked as a book keeper for Shamrock Materials. Carol enjoyed Synchronized swimming, reading, playing Canasta and Sudoku, doing projects around the house, gardening and watching the 49ers. Christmas was her favorite time of year; she spent hours decorating her home. Her kind heart, gentle spirit, beautiful personality and infectious smile will live on in our memories. Carol is survived by her devoted daughter, Teri Lehmann and son-in-law Phil Sciacca, of Novato. She leaves behind beloved grandchild Brittney and Zachary Sciacca, as well as her aunt, Verona Coates and many cousins. Carol believed family comes first. She gave our family her time, encouragement, love and guidance. She is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Marion Scott of Bakersfield and her husband Robert Lehmann, Jr. of Woodacre. A service will be held on Thursday November 21, 2013, 1pm at Greenlawn Cemetery 3700 River Blvd Bakersfield Ca. There will be a celebration of Carol's life held at a later date in Marin Co.
