Cherryl Kunzmann Obituary
Cherryl Kunzmann, 71, of Bakersfield, California was born in Taft, California on February 22, 1945 to Rolla E. Crawford and Ida May Crawford. She passed away at Golden Living Facility Bakersfield, California on September 14, 2016.
Cherryl was born and raised in Taft and graduated Taft High School class of 1963. After high school she moved to Las Vegas where she worked for the Showboat Casino. She returned to Bakersfield and was employed by Crocker and Wells Fargo Banks. She later met her husband, Greg Kunzmann and married in 1975. Their daughter, Kathryn was born in 1978. Cherryl continued to work and retired early to raise their daughter.
She is survived by her Husband Greg, Daughter and Son in Law, Luke Willdigg of Long Island New York. Her Grandson, Jaxon Willdigg and Step Grandson, Zachary Willdigg of San Diego, California, her niece and nephew and numerous cousins. Cherryl was a compassionate and out going person who showed love for all. She was always known as the life of the party and could make any one smile. She was a brilliant and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to dance, sing and laugh.
Her true passions were painting, marine mammals and she loved to be by the ocean. She was very proud of her husband, daughter and son-in-law's military service. Cherryl left a positive impression on everyone she met and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Viewing Services will be held at Mission Family Mortuary on September 22nd and 23rd  from 5-7 pm. Catholic Mass in her name will be held at St. Philip the Apostle at 9 am on Saturday, September 24th. Flowers may be sent to Mission Family Mortuary or a donation made in her name to St Jude's.
