Cheryl Rae Kline November 5,1946 - November 27, 2012 Born November 5, 1946 in Watertown, New York. Daughter of Wilbert and Marian Smith. Beloved wife of Tom Kline for more then 27 years. She is survived by her loving mother, Marion; brother, Phil and wife Carla; Beloved mother of daughter Lauri Slocumb and husband Bill, and son Marc Andrew Mallon and wife Kelly; sister in law, Mary Jo Fulong and brother in law John Kline; 2 Grandchildren, Jessica and Jacob; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and 2 nephews. When moving to Bakersfield she started her career at Texaco Employees Credit Union as a teller and eventually became C.E.O of Star Energy Credit Union, working there more then 17 years. She retired in November 2011. She was a graduate of the 1997 CUNA Management School. She was also an active member of the Laureat Lota Phi sorority for more than 45 years. She enjoyed activities such as gardening, crafting, reading, crocheting, and traveling in the RV. Cheryl's family and friends wish to extend their deepest and sincere thanks to all of the staff and Doctors of C.B.C.C for extending their love and caring. A chapel service, celebrating Cheryl's life will be held Saturday, December 1st, 2 p.m. at Greenlawn, 3700 River BLVD.
