C.J. Williams 1945 - 2012 C.J. Williams passed away in his home on May 21, 2012, in the company of his family and friends. He was born on January 23, 1945, in Bakersfield, California. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Angie; daughter, Leann Bayne, her husband, Curtis, granddaughters, Nicole, Sarah, Catherine, and Julia; son, David Tippit, his wife, Deena, grandchildren, Jasmine, Desiree, Jayme, and Wyatt; daughter, Wendy Wright, her husband, Paul, grandchildren, Nicole and Clayton; and daughter, Melissa Cordova, her husband, Gino, and grandchildren, Anthony and Brandy. Also by his great-granddaughters, Saskya, Aniya, and Maree; and his honorary father, Pat. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Williams; parents, Clarence and Dora Williams; sister, Ruby Bittle; and brother, John Williams. He retired from the job he loved with Santa Fe Railroad after 42 years, to travel. He especially loved camping at Pismo Beach with his wife and beloved dog, Gracie. He loved a great game of pool with his friends. He had recently moved to Peoria, Arizona, where he made many new friends. He was a member of Glendale Nazarene Church, where he reaffirmed his love of Jesus with Pastor Paul. Thanks to his special friends, Carol and Mitch, for their love and support. In addition, a special thanks to family and friends for your love, prayers, and support, and to Judy for the great food. Viewing will be held today, Wednesday, May 30, 2012, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 31, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at Glendale Nazarene Church in Peoria, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
