Daniel Mark Wilson, 44 passed away peacefully at home to meet his Lord, October 21, 2015 in West Sacramento with his life companion, Yolanda Hamen and uncle Steve at his bedside.
Daniel was born September 16, 1971 to Charles "Chuck" Wilson, who preceded him in death and Rebecca Wilson in Carmel, CA. He grew up in Bakersfield, attending local schools, graduated from West High School in 1989 and studied at Cal State Bakersfield. He worked at various pizza parlors, Davenport Office Supplies, Stockdale Village Florist and was a produce inspector, a trade he learned working with his grandfather who grew produce in Pixley, and together worked farmer's markets in southern CA.
In 1991, Daniel moved to Mexico and returned to California in 1992, living in Davis. In 1995, he moved to Sacramento where he began his career as a car salesman for Cal Worthington and various dealerships throughout his life. He moved to Portland, OR in 2002 and to West Sacramento in 2012. Daniel enjoyed travels to Hawaii, Amsterdam and Vancouver, B.C. and the beauty of the outdoors, especially the beach. He lived life to the fullest and cherished many friendships.
Daniel was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Wilson and grandparents Joseph and Naomi Burton. He is survived by his mother Rebecca Wilson; brothers, Steve and Gregg Morrow; sister, Michelle Morrow; grandmother, Ruby Wilson; uncles and aunts, Steve and Kay Wilson, Bill and Kathy Wilson, Kay and Scott Fisher, Lori and Matt Angell, Christine Wilson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
