David Robinson Obituary

David Eugene Robinson December 4, 1939 - September 30, 2010 David Eugene Robinson, 70, was greeted at Heaven's gate by Jesus Christ and in the arms of his loving wife that he so dearly missed, Charlene. He will be missed by his daughters, Carol Bean and husband James, Cheryl Mauck and husband Tommie, and Terrie Brown; grandchildren, Mike Hamma, Daniel Reece, Sheila Ramirez, Michele Etheridge, David Hamma, Shannon Mauck, Jacob Brown and their respective spouses; his 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Charlene Marie Robinson; his parents, Ezra and Louise Robinson; son-in-law, Gary Brown; and great granddaughter, Brooke Hamma. David, also known as "Gene" worked as a Plastering Contractor for 30 years. He entered the Real Estate Industry as a partner with his wife and he truly enjoyed this to the end of his retirement in 2005. Our dad's absolute love, devotion and caretaking for our Mother, showed us what is truly important in life. His example will help carry our family through this difficult time. A private family celebration of his life will be held in his honor. www.bakersfield.com/obits

Carol and sisters-you are in our thoughts and prayers. What wonderful examples of daughters you have shown all of us. While your Mom and Dad are together again they certainly are smiling down on all of you. We love you all.
