David R. Paca Sr. Obituary
David R. Paca, Sr. November 15, 1949 - September 30, 2012 David R. Paca, Sr., 62 years old, was born to Felix and Ruth Paca (Rodriguez). He was the oldest and took good care of his brothers and his favorite sister during the years his father and mother worked. He loved his large family and his Jehovah God. He was surrounded by a very supportive family throughout the last three months of having the worst case of chronic pancreatitis pseudocyst. David is survived by his mother, Ruth Paca; and his brothers, Steve (Nanette), and Larry (Teresia); and sister, Marsha Maybe. He also leaves behind devoted daughters, Perri (Gaby Semaan), Dana Stafford, and Jill (Anthony Martin); his sons, David Paca, Jr., Michael Paca, Chris Moore (Rhonda), and Mark (T.J. Stafford); and he was blessed with 15 grandchildren. David graduated in 1967 from Delano High School. He worked a variety of jobs throughout the years, starting with Grape Cold Storage in the 1970s in Delano, CA, Sierra Rock Pacific Ready Mix, RMC Lonestar, Cemtex, ending in 2001. He then went to work for a lovely couple, Tony and Nancy Delmos at Pacific Forest Products until 2008, before going to help his wife, Sherry Paca (Hines), with her daycare business. The children loved calling him Papa, and David always enjoyed having the children around him. He decided to go back to work, running dispatch for Willy Reyneveld Contracting, his favorite job by far, he would say before getting sick. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall, 10800 Hageman Rd., followed by a celebration of his life at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Celebration of Life Center, 2739 Panama Lane. The family would like to express our thanks to the doctors and nurses at KMC for all the care they gave and a special thanks to Dr. Von Sonaburg of Arizona and his staff, Karen, Ro, Gared, and Jason. Anyone who knew David was aware that he was a very special man, father, husband, brother, and papa who loved Jehovah God. For condolences please visit www.greenlawnmortuaryandcemetery.com.
