Dana & Steve - whether it has been one year, five years or ten years, the ache in a parent's heart will never go away after the loss of a child. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you wait for the "blessed day" when you see your sweet Dean again. Psalm 33:20 - "We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield"

Steve,
I was touched by the words you and Dean's mother wrote about him. I felt a father's pain while reading it, knowing how much you must miss him still, yet felt hopeful and encouraged as I read about the scholarship. What an awesome way to keep his memory alive.
