I remember her as loving, caring...and always smiling. I had the opportunity to be around her a lot at Lakeside and in 4-H. We all loved her. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

So many memories I hold dear are those at Uncle John and Aunt Doni's. I feel so blessed to be her niece. My wish is for her to rejoice in the reunion with our loved ones who preceded us in heaven.
Until we meet again! All my love

My Aunt Doni......what can I say. One of a kind, an extrodinary women in an ordinary world. How I miss her.... laughter, stories, the person who would tell you just how the cow ate the cabbage. Her down to earth, no nonsense, tougher than nails attitude - the one the only Doni Shubin. Not only was she my beloved Auntie, but my mother, sister and best friend. The Shubin home has always been our family's "retreat", filled with love, laughter and celebration. I am forever grateful that I was part of her life. I know she is up in Heaven with all of our loved ones that have gone before and she is at peace. I shall miss my Aunt Doni, but in the future should I be uncertain what to do, I will just think, "What would Aunt Doni do?".
