Services: Sat., June 28, 2 p.m.
Funeral services for Dorothy Leight-Pink will be held at St. Pauls Episcopal Church, 2216 17th St., Saturday, June 28, 2003, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Mark Lawrence will officiate, assisted by Rev. John Wilcox. Interment will take place Monday, June 30, in Grass Valley, California.
Dorothy Leigh-Pink was born in Toronto, Canada, April 4, 1918, the only child of William A. and Violet E. Kerr, both deceased.
Dorothy Leigh-Pink was the widow of Rev. Harry Leigh-Pink, formerly of St. Pauls Episcopal Parish in Bakersfield, and Emmanuel Episcopal Parish in Grass Valley. Father Harry preceded Dorothy in death in 1973.
Dorothy passed away in Van Nuys, CA., on Saturday, June 21, 2003.
Dorothy Leigh-Pink is survived by her four children: son, Peter and daughter-in-law Sharon Leigh-Pink of Bakersfield; son, Robin and daughter-in-law Beatrice Leigh-Pink of San Diego; daughter, Phyllis McMasters of Bakersfield; and daughter, Janet, and son-in-law, Michael Brooks of Simi Valley, CA.
Mrs. Leigh-Pink also leaves 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Grass Valley friends of Dorothy and Rev. Harry Leigh-Pink are invited to join the family for graveside services at 2 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2003, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, located on Rough and Ready Highway.
