After many years in Bakersfield, she and Robert moved to Tehachapi in September, 1990, where she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially the monthly bus trips to Eagle Mountain. Recent health problems returned her to Bakersfield.

She is survived by her husband of over 65 years, Robert, a son, Steven Tinsley of Bakersfield, a daughter, Linda Lee of Rocklin, a sister, Shirley Allen of Weldon and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mother Earth will now claim her, returning her to her origin, and though she will be as one with the earth forever, she will also be as one in our hearts forever.
