Eileen Eddleston Obituary
Eileen Eddleston September 25, 1912- September 16, 2012 Eileen Boughter was born September 25, 1912. She became Eileen Eddleston in 1944 when she married Jim, who she met while working at General Electric. They traveled across the country, living everywhere from Florida to California because of Jim's work in Electronics. Eileen had a variety of careers and she loved art. She worked at Santa Barbara University, she was a caregiver at Cleveland Hospital and eventually became an artist and sculptor in Northern California. Eileen loved children, but could never have any of her own. She ended the last 14 years of her life in Bakersfield living at Castlewood- now Pinewood Glen apartment homes. She loved her church, Daybreak Baptist, and her Sunday school more than anything, but most of all she loved Jesus. Eileen is preceded in death by her husband Jim. She is survived by her two sisters, Helen Anderson and Esther Hall, and many nieces and nephews who love her dearly. She was loved by everyone who was privileged enough to cross her path and she will be greatly missed. We would like to thank Frieda Caudle for taking such wonderful care of Eileen these past few years, driving her all over and keeping her company, as well as the Hospice nurses at Hoffman Hospice and the caregivers who stayed with her the last two weeks of her life. www.bakersfield.com/obits
