ELMER C. HEINLE August 27, 1937 - December 26, 2012 Elmer was born in Missoula, MT to parents Edwin and Lydia Heinle, the youngest of five children. In 1944, the family moved to Oakland, CA and he later attended San Leandro High School and San Francisco State. After serving in the National Guard, Mr. Heinle continued to live in Northern California where he met his soon-to-be wife, Claudia Antongiovanni, in 1968. They were married the same year. In 1974, the young family moved to Bakersfield. Mr. Heinle worked as a salesman, manager (Bakersfield Tire East) and accountant (Ugo Antongiovanni Farms) as well as volunteering countless hours at both St. Francis Church and School. His interests included gardening, craftsmanship, movies, music, reading, baking, traveling, watching his beloved San Francisco 49ers and enjoying his Manhattans. Elmer loved to laugh and have a good time and liked others to join in with him. He is survived by his wife, Claudia; children, Jeffrey (Tracey), Edwin and Jennifer Heinle; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ryan and Olivia Heinle; brothers Delbert (Mary) and Clarence Heinle; sister, Gladys Saska; brother-in-law, Ernest Antongiovanni; sister-in-law, Martha (Jim) Ball; and numerous nephews and nieces. Services will be conducted Monday, December 31 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elmer's memory to the
