Estella E. Regpala Obituary
Estella E. Regpala December 27, 1952 ~ December 25, 2012 Estella E. Regpala passed away on December 25, 2012. She was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Regpala, and grandparents, Pablo and Ventura Aparicio. Estella is survived by her mother, Petra Aparicio; her brother, Pastor Ben Lopez; her children, Teresa Ramirez, Pablo and wife Jessica Ramirez, and Christina Ramirez; seven grandchildren, Gabriel, Aaron, Pablo, Jesse, Michael, Brandie, and Alyssa; and her two dogs, Precious and Machete. Estella was employed by N.A.P.D. for 5 years, Bakersfield City School District Special Education for over 20 years, and then retired from the United Postal Service. Estella was well liked by many and whoever she came in contact with. Her personality was like no other. As a child, she learned to sew and crochet from her grandmother. She loved shopping, making clothes for herself, dolls, sewing curtains for her home, going on vacations, decorating for the holidays, creating new monsters for Halloween, cooking, watching football, and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren. I can't forget to say she loved her gorillas! She also enjoyed watching her grandsons play football, basketball, and soccer. She will be most missed and remembered by her special talents, her blonde hair, her jokes, her smile, sweetness, and her craziness. The family would like to say a special thank you to all the neighbors, family, friends, and CBCC for all their love, support, and prayers in this difficult time. A chapel service will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Celebration of Life Center, 2739 Panama Lane.
