Eula L. Morgan Obituary
Eula L. Morgan "Granna" December 11, 1924 - March 18, 2013 Born in McAlister, Oklahoma to Samuel and Jessie Henson where she lived until they moved to California. There she met and married her husband of 58 years until he passed away in 2001. Eula was a longtime resident of Shafter where she took care of the love of her life, Alfred Morgan and their three children. She attended First Assembly of God loyally for years and one time served as the Secretary/Treasurer. She especially loved the current pastor, Charles Toy, whom prayed with and for her. Eula worked at Bank of America in Shafter for 15 years which she enjoyed and met many friends. She loved bowling on leagues with her late husband and she was very competitive. Eula also enjoyed traveling all over the United States, visiting family and friends. Eula took pride in keeping her yards at her home looking beautiful and spent countless hours pulling out the weeds. She tended her gardens until she moved out of her home 7 months ago. Eula was faithful and loyal to God, whom she had a special relationship with, and her family, whom she cherished and cared for. Sensitive to her family needs, she showed support in so many ways. She was our family prayer warrior, calling each member out to God everyday. Beautiful, spirited, and feisty, she will be forever in our hearts. Eula is survived by her children, Gloria (Joe) Banks, Connie (Lee) Meeler, and Dan (Beth) Morgan; grandchildren, Jolee Maffia, Brad (Nancy) Banks, Leah (Ray) Organ, Tara (Steve) Williford, and Tiffany Thompson; great grandchildren, Broc, Tyler, John, Brooke, Lexi, Cole, Cierra, Tanner, Saige and Baleigh; great great grandchildren, Eli and Victoria; Sisters Irene Page and June Rasmussen; brothers, Sam (Gayle) Henson, Bob (June) Henson, and Mel (Rik) Henson.
