Eulalia "Lila" Jimenez Obituary
Eulalia "Lila" Jimenez April 11, 1955 - June 15, 2013 Lila touched an innumerable amount of people in her short time with us. Be it through family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, or any that she encountered. She gave to any and all that needed help without thought or hesitation. Her voice could soothe fear, doubts, and anger. She dispensed her wisdom and advice gently. Many can and will recall her laugh and smile. Even more will recall her cooking and baking. And these are the things that she would have wanted to be remembered for. Lila is survived by her daughters Santa Jimenez, Raquel Mora and son Bruno Mora. Brothers Pedro, Frank, and Joe. Sisters Francis, Mary and Eleanor. The amount of nieces and nephews is countless because so many people knew her as Tia Lila. She was a woman that belonged to many. She is preceded in death by her parents Pedro and Mary Gandara, sister Guadalupe Castellon, and nephew Pedro Louis Castellon. Rosary service will be held at St Josephs Church, 1515 Baker St. Bakersfield, CA on June 25th at five o'clock. A mass honoring her life will be held the following day, Wednesday June 26th, at St Josephs Church at ten o'clock with funeral services following at Greenlawn Cemetery, 3700 River Blvd. The family request that donations be made to the Bakersfield Ronald McDonalds house in her name in lieu of flowers. Gone but never forgotten and always in our hearts, we,her family and friends, shall carry on with her memory and her wisdom. www.bakersfield.com/obits
