Fannie V. Azparren Obituary
Fannie was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. She graduated from Kern County Union High School in 1941 and went on to marry her sweetheart of 58 years, Joe Azparren, in
1944.
Fannie was employed for 25 years by Bakersfield City Schools as a bi-lingual instructional aide and taught CCD at Christ the King Church for many years. She was devoted to raising her 3
children and making a beautiful home for her family. After retiring, Fannie and Joe traveled extensively. They particularly loved spending time with family and friends. As a wife, mother,
grandmother, and great-grandmother --Fannie was second to none.
She is survived by her children Jim Azparren, John Azparren, Annette Fitze (Jim), 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Fannie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe, in 2002.
A private Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, followed by graveside services at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
