Floyd C. Williams Obituary
Floyd C. Williams entered into this life on May 30, 1936, in Boley, Oklahoma. He was the third of twelve children born to the late Tom Watson and Genola Williams. Prior to retiring from Texaco Oil Company, Floyd enjoyed working as a Chef at various local restaurants. His hobbies were fishing, playing dominos, working on his rentals, and cheering for the Lakers. Floyd was a member and faithful attendant of St. John's Missionary Baptist Church.
Family members who preceded Floyd in death are his parents: Tom Watson and Genola Williams, brothers: Joe, Arthell, Luvell, Tom Jr., Calvin, baby (unnamed) and sisters: Wanda Joyce and Carolyn Faye.
Those left to cherish Floyd's memory are his faithful, loving wife of fifty-three years, Donnie; devoted sons: Brian and Brent; brother Raymond; sisters: Arnetta and Loretta; brothers -in-law: Oliver and Bill; sisters-in-law: Marion, Gloria and Barbara; aunts: Pauline Smith, Ella Mae Jackson, Lurlean Craig and Mable Muse. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, special cousins and caring friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Alam, Dr. Hewitt, Dr. Farrer, the Parkview Julian Staff, relatives and friends for extending love and care during Floyd's illness.
Funeral services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, on Saturday, March 7th, at 11:00am. Viewing will be held on Friday, March 6th, from 4:00 to 8:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 10:55am at Hillcrest.
