Frances C. Espinosa Obituary
Frances C. Espinosa passed away on April 16, 2014 peacefully to be with her creator. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Frances was born in Los Angeles, CA and lived in Kern County since 1930. She worked for the Kern County Sheriff's Office for 28 years retiring in 1994. She had drive and determination in her life long journey which gave way to many accomplishments. Her love of reading led her to writing many poems (two which were published) and small articles. She took on the arduous feat to write and have published her parents story "These Precious People". She was very proud of this work as was her family.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso and Rita Espinosa, her brothers, Manual, Robert, Alfonso and Arthur, and her sister, Margaret. She is survived by her five children, Randolph Pantoja, Rita Sluga, John Edwards, Laura Walck, and David Edwards, seven grandchildren, her sisters Alice Najera and Belen Poincot and a brother, Alfred Espinosa and their families.
Rosary Services will be 6:30PM and Viewing from 7PM to 8PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1515 Baker St., Bakersfield, CA on Thursday, 4/24/2014. The Mass will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Friday, 4/25/14 at 10AM. Graveside to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Rd., Bakersfield, CA. A lunch reception will follow at the home of her daughter, 11111 Bardon Hill Dr., Bakersfield, CA.
