Frances L. Brown Obituary
On Friday, May 16th Frances passed away peacefully at 92. She is now in Gods care for all time. Frances was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma to James C. and Ollie (Lewis) Mooney.
In 1946, she married Jonah Paul Brown in Fresno, California, and then moved to Bakersfield. Frances kept busy most of her life with a busy household raising three sons, one nephew, and two foster children. She was also an active member in the Pentecostal Church.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Ernest, Bruen, Delroy, James and Robert Mooney, and two sisters Pauline Wells and Mrs. Marie L. Ford, husband Jonah Paul Brown and son, Johnny Michael Brown.
Survivors include her sister, Mrs. Jean Hatley of Corning, California, sons and their spouses, Joe and Mary Brown, David and Angie Brown, Gene and Kelly Brown of Bakersfield. She is also survived by grandchildren Jeremy Brown, Shelly Reed, Sarah Kelli Jackson, Amy Miller, Justin Cave, Cody Brown, Shannon Brown, Jody Brown, and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews."We know for certain that we lose the people we love, but even in death they continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love was unconditional and leaves indelible imprint in our minds and hearts. We find comfort in knowing our lives have been enriched by them forever."
