Fred J. Welch Jr.

Fred J. Welch Jr. Obituary
Fred's strong work ethics equipped him to provide for his wife, Donna; children, Patricia, Larry and Tina through agriculture, water-well work; finding his niche installing and repairing oil-well pumping units for Pumping Unit Repair for 30 years. His tough-as-nails character helped him persevere through many challenges. He was frugal, honest, kind, loving, and giving.
Fred had many interests, which included gardening (he had the best tomatoes), playing dominoes, visiting with friends and family, watching his grandson Mike play baseball, and watching Gunsmoke and Bonanza.
He is survived by his children, Patricia, Larry, and Tina; sister, Peggy; eight grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; one great-great- grandson; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Jumper. His second wife, Norma, and his three brothers preceded him in death.
We are grateful to Optimal Hospice and the caregivers, Bertha, Juanita, and Shere for caring for Fred. On November 1, 2014, he stepped into the presence of the Lord. For condolences please visit www.greenlawnmortuaryandcemetery.com.
