Donna and family, we have been out of town since Christmas and just learned of Garry's passing. We'll miss Garry, but always remember "Mr. Ohanneson" as the guardian of our street. You could count on him to be in the front yard with a watchful eye on all the neighborhood kids, and a friendly wave as you come up the street. Our thoughts are with your family. He was a great man.

Donna, I too am a cousin of Garry. . My name is Don Beaver. All of us kids grew up together. He was about 7 years younger than I. But as a family we were very close, but like other families, we grew apart. Sad. He was a great kid when he was young. Our families did a lot of things together. We were poor financially but we were rich in family values and things that counted. I kept tabs on his progress thru his brother Carl. I am so sorry for your loss Donna and family. I am only sorry that I did not get to know him when he grew up. God Bless

My family has been truly blessed to become part of the Ohanneson's extended family. We will never forget the times we got to spend with Garry at the pageants and during Thanksgiving.
Garry was an amazing person and I could see how much he loved you all...especially his grandchildren. I know the kids must be very sad and it breaks my heart.
I pray that you will have the strength you need to get through this very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. I love you all.

I will always have the fond memory of Garry in his office, excitedly showing me all those oil maps. He was like a little boy talking about what was all going on. I had such a lovely time with Garry and Donna that day and was blessed to have met them both. John (my brother) and I agree meeting them was one of the highlights of our trip to Bakersfield.

I'm not good with words, but want you all to know you're in my thoughts and prayers. Garry was an amazing person, for whom I respected a great deal. The Ohanneson family has always made me feel welcomed in their family, lives and home. I love you all very much!

Garry was such a blessing to us and I will always remember him fondly - especially when putting up Christmas lights or doing the lawn - two things that we learned were a "requirement" with "Mr. Ohanneson" the day we moved in. :-) You could not ask for a better neighbor. We always knew Gary was there to watch over the kids, or our place. Donna, let us be there for you in this time. If you need anything, you know we are all there for you. You'll never be forgotten Gary. God got an angel to celebrate Christmas with him this year.

Donna and Family. I am Garry's cousin Sandra Beaver Greenlee. I dont believe I have seen Garry for 40 years or more. When we were little Robbie, Garry and I played together almost daily and were very close close. I am so sorry to hear of his passing but happy that he is not suffering and in pain anymore. And thank you for putting his picture in the obituary. He was a very handsome man. May God bless you and and bring peace and comfort to you and your family.

Gary will be missed. My condolences to the family and friends. This picture is a very good likeness of Gary, the sun shining on him and the green growth in the background and the grin that makes you wonder what he was up to.
