Gordon E. Wright Obituary
Gordon E. Wright born in 1937 lost his fight to Cancer on October 10, 2014.
Gordon's love of farming started as a child working on his family's farm "Wright's Dairy" on Fairfax and Brundage Lane. He went to East Bakersfield High School where he met and married the his loving wife of 59 years, Louise. Together they raised four daughters and a son.
Gordon continued his farming as a Ranch Foreman working for Santiago Ranch for eight years. He moved his family to Lost Hills where he became a Superintendent of Row Crops for Blackwell Land Company for 15 years.
Then finally his last job was working for Western Farm Service as fertilizer service driver where he worked until his retirement in 2004 at the age of 67.
Surviviors include his wife Louise,
daughters Debra Wilson (Mark), Diane Ozanich (Matt), Doreen Allman (Bob), Lisa Forry ( Matt) and son Newell Herbert Wright. Grandchildren, Desiree Hammond, John David Terrell III, Lance Terrell, Anthony Terrell, Kimberly Clayton, Heather Zauner, Matt Ozanich Jr., Jeremy Black, Brandon Wright, Joshua Lesczcewicz, Tyler Allman, Madeline Hoffman, Katie Forry, Faith Forry, Kristi and Randy Wright. 20 great-grandchildren. Brother Gerald Wright ( Glenda). Sisters-in-law Janice Perea(Kerry) of Spokane WA., Alice Hargraves (Art) of Douglasville GA., and Irene Goode of Duluth GA.
Our family would like to thank Optimal Hospice and CBCC for their support and care during dads fight with Cancer.
We will be having a private service to be held at a later date.
