Obituary Condolences

The Great Guy McReynolds has gone to the Great Beyond at the grand old age of 104.
Having been born and raised in Corsicana, Texas, Guy spent his early career building pipelines across the USA. During this time, he worked and lived in over 35 states. However, when he moved to Bakersfield in 1932, he found Home. Guy loved his Bakersfield. Throughout his working life, Guy was many things. He was a welder, a salesman, owned a sporting goods store and built and managed several mobile home parks.
Guy loved people and always saw the best in everyone. His sunny optimistic disposition greatly contributed to his longevity. Until a month before his passing, he still was buying lottery tickets with great plans of what to do with his winnings.
He was proud to be a 32 degree Mason and Shriner.
Guy is survived by his sons, Dan (Anne) and Bruce, his grandchildren, Dan (Jennifer), Cole (Pam), Susan (Chuck) and Stacey (Joe) and his great-grandsons, Jordan and Christopher.
Thanks to Brookdale Riverwalk for their wonderful care and also to Optimal Hospice.
Per Guy's wishes, his services will be private.
