Harold William Zauner Obituary
Harold was born to Henry and Hilda (Plahn) Zauner, June 4th, 1935 on a farm in Tilden, Nebraska. He was in the army, where he received
a medical discharge
He met his wife Marjorie in Yankton, South Dakota. They were married in Minnesota in 1958. They moved to Bakersfield, California in 1960, where he drove trucks for many oil companies to deliver their pipe. He liked to fish, hunt and ride motor cycles. So he started B & H M/C in Kentucky Street in 1969. He and his wife owned and operated the business for 25 1/2 years when they retired in 1994. They traveled many years and then bought a home in Yuma, Arizona to spend the winters.
He leaves his wife Marjorie, son Mark, (Madelyn) Zauner, grandsons Brad (Heather) Zauner, grandson Craig Richardson, great grand daughters Grace Marie Zauner and Erin Richardson, sister Mary Ann (Dale) Croxen Tilden, brother , Wayne (Judy) Zauner, Sheridan, Montana, sister, Marva (John) Varner, Norfolk, NE, Marlene (Jim) Hamill McCook Ne, Peg (Larry) Emory, Norfok, Ne and sister-in-law Eveylyn Young, Bakersfield, California. Many neices and nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Marie Wolslager, brother Dale Zauner and brother-in-law Gus Weich.
Thanks to the nurses and doctors in San Juaquin for the great care.
Services will be held at Hillcrest Mortuary in Bakersfield, California on April, 9th, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
