Herbert K.F. Chang Obituary
Herb served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 - 1959, worked for the Local Plumbers & Fitters in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was a member of the Lamont School Board, serving his community any way he could. He enjoyed the role of Santa Claus for the County Fair Market, going to local football games, watching his favorite NFL team, Washington Redskins, enjoyed sharing his life stories with everyone, his morning bike rides, and visiting friends at McDonald's.
Herb was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Fat Chang and Katherine Kam O'I Young Chang Hanohano; sister, Ethelwyn C. Kodama; brothers, Clyde Alung and Raymond Kwai Chang. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Clemencia; brother, Melvin Yau Chang and sister-in-law, Gail; children, Antonia Rosales (Alex), Maddie Jayne (Kent), John Ramos, and Jimmy Ramos (Claudia); eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 9:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Celebration of Life Center, 2739 Panama Lane.
