IRVING C. FALK Obituary
Mr. Falk was born in Brooklyn, NY to Arthur and Rose Falk. He attended CCNY, Rutgers, Texas A&M, and the University of Missouri School of Mines & Metallurgy where he received his BS in Mining Engineering and his MS in Mining & Geology. He served in the US Army during WWII, followed by a career with Bechtel and the Fluor Corporation. In retirement, he enjoyed playing bridge, most recently at Brookdale West.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Rhoda Falk; three sons: Gregory Falk and his wife Carol of Bakersfield, CA, Boaz Falk and his wife Georgette of Tel Aviv, Israel, and Matthew Falk and his wife Dianne of Chapel Hill, NC; six grandchildren: Aaron, Ethan, Ryan, Daniella, Alexandra, and Patrick; two great grandchildren: Seth and Hillel.
Mr. Falk's burial will be at the Bakersfield National Cemetery at 12:30pm on Wednesday, November 9. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the .
