Obituary Condolences

On September 12, 2016, Isador Mendez Cruz was called home to be with his loving wife of 40 years, Evangelina "Bongie" Cruz in the arms of the Lord. He was 67 years young. He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents Daniel and Ruth Cruz. He is survived by his loving children Isador Paul Cruz, Gloria Inez Cruz, and Nick and Stacie Lopez.
He is survived by his brother Danny and wife Bertha, sister Suzanna Ramirez and husband Jose, sister Cecelia Rodriguez, numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends that grew to be family. He took up barbering at the age of 17, and with his father they ran Dan's Barber Shop. He was someone you could count on for a great haircut and an even better laugh. He was a fun-loving, kind-hearted guy who always invested in people and always, always kept it real. He was a great listener and took the time and effort to truly connect with people. Most of all he was a family man. He loved his family and devoted his life to helping those in need. He'll be deeply missed, but will live forever in our hearts.
The services will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 10am, with a brief viewing prior to mass. Grave side services will follow and a reception will be held immediately after. In lieu of flowers, please consider helping the family with final burial expenses by contacting them at 661-477-2891.
