He was Officer and organizer of several clubs such as the Ridgecrest Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Dead Owl Car Club. He was the was the all time funny Man, he was unafraid to prank anyone anytime. If you look at his high school yearbook you will discover Luke was instrumental in creating and organizing the "Homo's" club which was the all male version of "Home Economics". Later years he devoted himself to the church, and assisted his good friend, Monsignor Cleary or "The Padre" as he was referred to. After retirement he spent most of his time shuttling granddaughters around to cheer & gymnastics and was known by the gym parents & staff as "Grandpa". He was always there for family and friends, never held back - you heard exactly what he was thinking but it was followed by "how can we fix this?". He will hold a place in many hearts and stories of the man with too many names (Dad, Grandpa, Uncle Luke, Luke, Butch and others not to be repeated) will continue as long as everyone shares them.
