James Arlen Jackson Obituary
James Arlen Jackson went to the Lord after living with Alzheimer for three years on the 23rd of April. His wife Betty Jean Jackson, who had liver cancer, followed him shortly thereafter on the 24th of April. After 62 years of marriage they can now spend an eternity together. The couple lived most of their lives in Oildale where they raised up two boys Nicholas and Steven, before they moved to Tehachapi.
Dad served in the US Navy during the Korean War and upon his return home from duty he went to work for Pacific Telephone. Mom and Dad moved to Tehachapi in 1976 as were they became fixtures in Stallion Springs at the golf course in the neighborhood.
Dad worked for 20 years for the golf course in their Pro Shop and later in the maintenance department. Mom served as Horse Thief Women's Golf Club's first woman Vice President
James and Betty are survived by their son Steven who moved to Tehachapi to care for them. They are preceded in death by their son Nicholas.
Services for James and Betty Wednesday, May 21st, at 10:45AM at the Bakersfield National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Chase Bank "Jackson" Acct# 8532
