James Clifford "Bud" Bennett July 27, 1926 - May 31, 2012 Bud will be buried at Shay's Chapel, Newburg, West Virginia on June 23, 2013. He was born in Osage, West Virginia along with 10 brothers and sisters. When drafted in 1944 he became part of the Sea Bees. In 1950 he served with the U.S. Air Force until his retirement in 1968. Bud leaves behind his ex-wife Betty, son Jim and wife Jill, daughter Melanie Green and husband Rick, grandchildren Jared and Tabitha Green, and great-granddaughters Annaleise, and Quinn. He is survived by his sisters Janis Geho, Judy Bohon, and brothers Emerson, and Paul Bennett, special nephew Bill Geho, and three generations of nieces and nephews. Bud was a true West Virginian and will be buried in the ground that he loved next to his mother Ethel. www.bakersfield.com/obits
