Hi Jim
You were more than just a brother to me you were my mentor as well as my best friend as a youngster I learned more from you than any other person or source in my life some of the memories are still fresh in my mind. I remember tne nuns telling us youngsters how bright you were & how stupid the rest of us were and they were probably right. It just seemed that you were capable of fixing everything that was broken. I also remember the bob-sleds that you made for your brothers back on the farm. All of those years away back in the 1930' & 1940' were some of the best years of my life & to this day they are still fond memories, you not only helped your brothers & sisters you would also help our through the woods neighbors The (Bruce) family You were well accepted by all of our friends & neighbors.
Shortly after WW2 broke out you were drafted into the Army & that broke all of our hearts especially our mom. Mom would be doing her chores around the house with tears rollin down her face thinking about you & if you would ever come home again, that was a tough situation with still to this day vivid memories. You will alway's be #1 in my book forever.
much love Your Brother Bob 12- 27 2010
