Jesus Solis Obituary

Jesus Jose Solis May 17, 1928 - September 17, 2010 Jesus Solis was born in McNary, TX to parents Jose and Maria Solis on May 17, 1928 and went to be with his Lord on September 17, 2010. Jesus enjoyed his friends at the Senior Center, playing cards with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was an avid Dodgers and Angels fan. He also loved his church community friends at St. Joseph's. Jesus is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 48 years, Bertha and his parents, brothers, and sisters. He is survived by his sons, Guadalupe Solis and wife Anita, Ruben Solis and wife Betty, Jesus Elias Solis and wife Jackie, and Daniel Solis and wife Trisha; daughters, Maria Ramona Rodriguez and husband David, Irma Margarita Smith and husband Ron, and Angelica Mooney and husband Art; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great- grandchildren. He is also survived by his dear caregiver, Rosa Ochoa. A Rosary was held Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph's Church, 1515 Baker Street. Greenlawn Mortuary www.bakersfield.com/obits
