Jesus Maria Ramirez Obituary
Jesus Maria Ramirez, 82 years old, was born in Durbin, North Dakota and had lived in Bakersfield, California, for the past 62 years.
Jesus worked for Southern Pacific Railroad starting in 1965. After giving 40 years of service with the railroad, he finally retired.
Prior to the start of their relationship, Jesus rode on his motorcycle to visit Guadalupe at work, he would continually ask her to go out with him, and one day she finally gave in - she said yes! Their marriage was overflowing with love which produced 6 children. Their love was only made stronger with the love that they had for Christ.
Jesus was a beloved husband, proud father, loving grandfather, gracious brother, giving uncle, loyal friend, and blessed Godfather. He was a devout follower of Christ. His faith was such an integral part of his life. He was such a generous man who never asked for anything in return. He had endless unconditional love to give. His love was immense and limitless. With a name like Jesus, how could it not? He embodied the spirit of Christ. As long as those around him were happy, he found happiness.
Jesus was survived by his dearest wife Guadalupe and children; Jesus and Margret Ramirez, Johnny Ramirez, George and Mary Ramirez, Albert and Becky Ramirez, and Bertha and Joseph Enriquez; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; two brothers, one sister and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Jesus Ramirez, his parents and four brothers.
