David also worked twenty years for the state of California as controller for the department of mental health and the California department of corrections as a warehouse supervisor before retiring in 2012.
David loved spending time with and taking care of his dogs. His love for designing and landscaping brought him very close with nature. David and Michael spent many years transforming their yard into a lush oasis, so beautiful and tranquil as to melt all the days stressors, no matter their intensity. His hobbies included gardening, cooking, music, antiques, and travel. David's amazing ability to impart his wisdom upon loved ones will live within us for eternity.
