Joseph Frank Cullison, 29, of Bakersfield, died November 9, 2015, as a result of a tragic motorcycle accident.
Joseph, AKA "Joey", was born January 20, 1986, in Torrance, CA., and lived in Redondo Beach, until age 16 when his family relocated to Bakersfield. Joey was active from birth. He played baseball, football, and hockey. He enjoyed skateboarding, surfing, fishing, wakeboarding, riding motorcycles, and camping. It was only natural he pursued a career outdoors as a commercial driver and crane operator in the petroleum industry. In his adult years, his passion for riding his motorcycle grew. His greatest love, however, was his five-year old daughter Kylie.
He is survived by his mother and father, Frank & Josephine Cullison; daughter, Kylie Cullison; sister and brother-in-law, Shannon & Danny Lackey; paternal grandparents, Bob & Ida Kelly; maternal grandmother, Maria Crisafulli; maternal grandfather, Patrick Plotner, two nephews, Maverick and Elliott Lackey; two nieces, Berlynn & Elise Lackey, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Joey touched so many lives and he will be missed by all.
Services will be held Sunday, November 22 at 1pm, at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary.
