Juanita Franco Obituary
Juanita Franco, 71 of Bakersfield passed January 16th , 2014 with her family by her side. She was born to the late Jesus and Maria Reyes, May 18th 1942, in Ballinger, Texas. She graduated from East Bakersfield High in 1960. Retired from the County in 1966.
Juanita is survived by her husband Nieves of 53 years. Daughters, Jeanne Hernandez, Margaret and Ray Mendez. Seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Sisters, Emily Behill, Connie Nieto, Eloise and Johnny Ramirez. Family and friends too numerous to list that she loved and who also loved her.
She was a very special person, always made other feel at home, always serving and accepting. She was the glue that kept her family together and some how we know she still will. She loved quilting, sewing, crocheting, she loved her family and friends. She will be missed more than she'll ever know.
Visitation will be private. Rosary will be held at Hillcrest on Thursday, January 23rd, at 6pm. Mass will be Friday, January 24th at 1pm at St. Joseph Church. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest immediately followed.
