Junelle Bean

04/25/1927 - 02/04/2015 Obituary
Junelle Bean was first and foremost a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ of Calvary. She put her trust in Him alone for her salvation when she was a young girl living on a dust-bowl farm in Mangum, Oklahoma. She and Dayton, her husband for 58 years, raised their 3 daughters to love and fear God. Junelle was a giver, as most moms are, but her giving extended to anyone who entered her home. She was not attached to her material possessions; in fact, she never asked for anything. She was always content with what she had. Junelle was a helper to anyone who asked, and she NEVER complained. She was always ready to help Dayton with any task: raking hay, flagging alfalfa berms, chopping cotton, checking water with him day or night. Junelle was a doer. She cooked countless meals for family, guests, church functions, and unexpected visitors. She hosted hundreds of church activities through the years. Half of those years, her home was an old pieced-together farmhouse with 804 square feet of living space, but people loved to come to her home. Junelle was a good listener. Many sat at her table with a cup of coffee and poured out their troubles to her. She befriended people from all walks of life. Many children who came from broken homes found love and peace at her home. They were always welcome. Junelle's life was lived for Jesus and others. Graveside service was February 10, 2015 in Delano, CA.
