Ken Gladden Obituary
Ken, "The Legend" Gladden, 68, passed away November 16th, after a lengthy illness. Ken was raised in Shafter, California where he was a standout athlete.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Marilyn Gladden of Billy Gladden Trucking.
Ken was very active in sports his entire adult life playing slow-pitch softball, golf, where he earned his nickname "the legend". Ken played tennis and was involved for many years in the Dodgers Hot Stove Dinner. His various careers spanned Wasco High where he coached football and wrestling. He also was a stockbroker and sold real estate and insurance. He was especially proud of his ownership of the Hall of Fame Baseball Card Shop, The Funplex and co-Ownership of the Cadillac Ranch and Papa Riccio's Speak Easy.
Ken is survived by his wife of 47 years, Gay Gladden, son Brian and his wife Kim and granddaughters Sierra and Sydney.
