Kirk Raymond Ansolabehere Obituary
Kirk Raymond Ansolabehere, a much loved son and brother, passed away March 1, 2014 from brain cancer. Like most things in life Kirk faced this struggle with calm and a desire to make the best of things. Kirk was an avid outdoors man, he loved hunting and fishing. He was the guy you went to if you needed something put together or repaired. He went to North High School class of 1982 and graduated from CSUB. Kirk was on the North High coaching staff for girls basketball.
Kirk is survived by his parents Raymond and Geraldine; sister Natalie; brother Martin; nephew Kyle Ruiz; nieces Baylie Ruiz, Kimmie Craft and Kaylie; uncle Gilbert (Ellen) Ansolabehere; cousins John (Cheri) Ansolabehere, Avon (John) Goyeneche and Alysia (Brandon) Stevens. Close friends Tom and Robin Parrish, Mark Gause and Patrick Holmes thank you for all the visits and phone calls.
Kirks motto that he lived by was
" life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO HOO what a ride'. " Although Kirks life was cut short by cancer he did more things in this life than most of us do in a lifetime.
He will be greatly missed.
