Those who knew her can attest to Kizna's wisdom, unwavering loyalty, and dedication to always lending a helping hand or offering words of advice to those in need. No matter what was going on her own life, Kizna always made time to listen to those who needed an ear. Friends of her children considered her a second mother, and everybody she knew was impacted deeply by how embracing she was. Kizna's children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. The legacy of her kindness and zest for life will live on through them.
Kizna enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time with her children and grandchildren,
cheering on her beloved New Orleans Saints, and readingâ€" she was rarely without a book within arm's reach! She was always committed to family, and helped encourage everybody to reach their highest potential. Family and friends say that she always seemed to know something about everything, and if you ever had a question then she was the one to call first.
