My prayers are with mrs Portis and Larry's entire family, when I first realized how sick Larry was he was in the hospital we prayed and next thing I know God had raised him up and through it all it was obvious he was a fighter who kept his head up and I didnt hear him complain Wow what a testimony now he is in his heavenly home, that is the comfort in knowing the Lord Jesus for your self, no more sorrow, no more tears, no more pain always howdy howdy and never good bye. Over the years we have shared so many different experiences. We shared joy, laughter, and even tears. And through it all we always remained friends even in absence. I will miss you. Especially that dimple.

It is very difficult to have a loss of a loved one. Though at times we may not understand it, God has a plan in every life that HE created. Through the pain, He comforts; in sorrow..He heals the heart. We knew him as one with the most beautiful and warm smile. He was definitely well loved and will be greatly missed by many! May God continue to give each of you strength as you go through this difficult journey. If there is anything that our family can do, please don't hesitate to contact us!

Life gives us all trials and tribulations and being pain free is somethin all us want but are not guaranteed. The years I had you around were very blessed and cherishing but we all must move on Uncle Larry. Say Hello to my Daddy and Greet him with a GREAT BIG HUG for me and the girls. I Will Always Love and Miss You.

Wow,now i understand the words to the song ,it's so hard to say goodbye, sometimes we tend to get it in our minds that we will be here for along time, without realizing that tomorrow is promised to no one and i guess i got caught up in that thought,I love you and I'll miss you dearly, but we all know that god loved you more, and to my family stay strong and I love you all too.
