Lucy Sarazua Chow Obituary
Born April 18, 1917
in Bakersfield, CA to
Pablo Sarazua and
Domitila Atilano,
died August 2, 2014.
She was baptized and reared in the Catholic faith and passed that faith on to her children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: John, Genoveva, Ruth, Lupe, her husband Sam and grandson Robert Chow Antone. She is survived by sisters Tillie Escamilla and Cora Moreno, her children Sam, Mary Ellen, Richard, Eileen, Charles Louie and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lucy was a special and selfless lady who worked all her life to help support her family. She was a seamstress for the WPA during WWll, learned life skills from that program, worked as a cook and housekeeper, and was a waitress at several Chinese restaurants including Fats Cafe, and the Chinese Kitchen until she retired.
Lucy was very much revered by her family and will be missed.
