LV Mulkey Obituary
LV Mulkey 1924 - 2012 LV Mulkey was born in Breden, OK, on December 30, 1924. The Lord called him home on September 13, 2012. LV moved to Bakersfield as a young man with his family and worked on a farm, and later worked at ARB Construction for 19 years, and then retired. He spent four years in his country's service during WWII in the U.S. Army. LV loved golfing, bowling, and race cars. He shared that enthusiasm with his good friends, John and Linda Hunter, Jerry Estep and Darrye Estep. They all made his last years the best for him. LV was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Sussie Mulkey; his son, Little LV Mulkey; three brothers; and two sisters. He is survived by his brother, Johnnie and wife, Jean Mulkey; his sister, Thalma Swift of Kansas; one niece, Winnie Wilkins; and one nephew, Mark Yarberry of Bakersfield, CA. He will be greatly missed! Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, September 18, 2012, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd. A Chapel service will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. For condolences please visit www.greenlawnmortuaryandcemetery.com.
