Lydia "Babe" Flores November 23, 1920 - March 31, 2012 Lydia Medina Flores 91 Years, passed away on March 31st in Bakersfield, CA. Lydia was born on November 23, 1920 in San Pedro, CA and lived there until 1987 when she moved to Bakersfield where she lived for the past 25 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Bernardo, as well as her brothers; Eddie, Ernest, Bobby and John "Maton" Medina, her daughter Armida Lucille, and great-grandchild, Jamicah Dent. She is survived by her sister Lucille, sister in-law Virginia Monge, as well as her children; Lydia Alaniz (Roel), Bernie and Victor Flores (Becky), Armida Alaniz (Johnny), Paulina Vega and 16 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Services will be held at Hillcrest Mortuary in Bakersfield on Monday, April 9th at 2pm. www.bakersfield.com/obits
